Financial institution located in Richmond, VA has an outstanding career opportunity available for an experienced Marketing Research Strategist / Senior Marketing Analyst. We are searching for a seasoned marketing pro to take on this challenging role incorporating strategy, development and execution, to successfully achieve the goals of this industry leader. This position requires a passionate, creative-thinker who has the ability to translate complex, strategic information into a straightforward marketing strategy or message. Qualified candidates must have prior banking and strategic database marketing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and evaluate consumer information to identify strategic opportunities and make product development recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to create and execute strategic marketing initiatives
• Maintain vendor relationships
• Responsible for qualitative and quantitative research projects
• Investigate new market opportunities and develop new products and services for existing customers
• Execute market research and act as the industry and technology trend expert
• Manage Marketing Database Specialist and oversee the marketing database to accomplish desired results
• Analyze, track and develop reports on marketing campaigns to determine the success and ROI
• Provide strategic direction to other managers, senior management and board of directors

Requirements:

• Experience in the financial services industry is required
• Extensive database experience is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of modeling and analytical tools
• Experience reading and understanding Crystal Reports
• Direct marketing experience is preferred
• Superb analytical, verbal and written communications skills
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
