What you will be doing?
- Creating and implementing a merchandising plans
- Creating and implementing marketing initiatives like
- Weekly customer newsletters

- Management of CPC shopping feeds and partnership programs
- Designing and testing marketing landing pages for best conversions
- Managing Natural Search rankings with agency assistance

- Managing inventory levels by product sku and category to maximize sales and turn

What you need!
- A background in e-commerce or retail or high end fashion or jewelry
- 2+ years of retail merchandising experience
- Strong working knowledge of Cost Per Click
- Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, or business administration
- A thorough understanding of merchandising/sales/turn and inventory management
- Highly organized and able to adapt to quickly changing priorities
- High level analytical skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent knowledge of product and the domestic and international markets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
What's preferred?
- Experience with SEM - Omniture, Google Analytics or other ecommerce analytics tools

Specifics Include:
- Present recommendations to senior management
- Create, validate, and refine asset-level forecasts and NPV (Net Present Value)
- Design and implement quantitative and qualitative marketing research projects
- Manage external vendors and related budget
- Provide appropriate insight to vendors and collaborate with brand team members to provide analyses of available primary and secondary data
- Conduct market segmentation
- Supports the Identifying and evaluating core positioning to ensure brand strategy is aligned with tactical execution.
- Supports the planning process through market based situation analysis to identify opportunities and strategies
- Collaboration with colleagues in Europe, Far East, the US, and the UK for developing and implementing training program of market research
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MS desirable
- Minimum of 3+ years pharmaceutical, marketing analysis/forecasting experience
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Experience doing analysis of in a marketing environment, especially for NPV
- Strong understanding of both primary/secondary research sources

The Role:
The Direct Marketing Analyst – Email Campaigns provides in-depth reporting on email campaign effectiveness and assists with customer segmentation and marketing strategy for multiple email campaigns per week under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Do:
Strategize, conceptualize, build, execute and analyze email marketing programs in collaboration with marketing teams
Partner with marketing teams and marketing analysts to determine effectiveness of email programs
Work within a team environment to plan email themes and segmentation strategies based on analytics
Pull large volumes of data and customize reports using SQL and other analytic web applications
Compile, manipulate, and interpret data in Excel using pivot tables and charts

Assist other team members to complete reporting and special assignments
Analyze, evaluate and make recommendations about the business impacts of targeted email marketing programs
Interact closely with business partners to leverage those insights in planning, program development and strategic initiatives
Provide thought leadership and collaboration with cross-functional business partners to evaluate marketing effectiveness, develop key findings and promote actionable contributions to Bill Me Later strategy
Use Customer Relationship Management applications to create customer segmentations for email campaigns
What You Need to Bring:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 2-4 years experience managing an email analytics team
· SQL experience, or are expected to be able to gain intermediate SQL knowledge within first 3 months.
· Strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, able to manipulate and interpret data
· Ability to listen and understand business needs to deliver actionable analyses and recommendations
· Experience building/implementing a CRM or experience having built one’s own automation – a plus.
· Experience in Social Marketing a plus.
