TITLE: Direct Marketing Analyst – Email Campaigns

The Role:

The Direct Marketing Analyst – Email Campaigns provides in-depth reporting on email campaign effectiveness and assists with customer segmentation and marketing strategy for multiple email campaigns per week under rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do:

Strategize, conceptualize, build, execute and analyze email marketing programs in collaboration with marketing teams

Partner with marketing teams and marketing analysts to determine effectiveness of email programs

Work within a team environment to plan email themes and segmentation strategies based on analytics

Pull large volumes of data and customize reports using SQL and other analytic web applications

Compile, manipulate, and interpret data in Excel using pivot tables and charts

Write customized customer segmentation using SQL

Assist other team members to complete reporting and special assignments

Analyze, evaluate and make recommendations about the business impacts of targeted email marketing programs

Interact closely with business partners to leverage those insights in planning, program development and strategic initiatives

Provide thought leadership and collaboration with cross-functional business partners to evaluate marketing effectiveness, develop key findings and promote actionable contributions to Bill Me Later strategy

Use Customer Relationship Management applications to create customer segmentations for email campaigns

What You Need to Bring:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 2-4 years experience managing an email analytics team

· SQL experience, or are expected to be able to gain intermediate SQL knowledge within first 3 months.

· Strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, able to manipulate and interpret data

· Ability to listen and understand business needs to deliver actionable analyses and recommendations

· Experience building/implementing a CRM or experience having built one’s own automation – a plus.

· Experience in Social Marketing a plus.
