What role? VP of MARKET RESEARCH

What location? St. Louis, MO (.not remote, sorry)

The pay range? $90,000 to $110,000 salary and benefits. Bonus/incentive potential $$$. The salary is based on prior work experience and salary history. Full time position (not a contract role.)

Educational requirements: MS and MBA is preferred/ Bachelor's required

Required Experience: A minimum of 8+ years in custom market research - includind experience working for a research company.

Great challenge for the experienced market research professional, a multi-tasker who likes working with bright, intelligent people and leading a staff. The job is important and we are looking for the right MARKET RESEARCH person who loves working with clients, designing quantitative and qualitative research studies and solving problems. This role will require custom survey based research and management skills. A person in this role will have an exceptional work ethic, like designing research studies to meet the needs of the businesses, utilizing a full tool-belt of research skills they have previously learned and used.

Requirements:
8+ years of experience as a market researcher with a passion for research
5+ or more consecutive years of on the supplier side, working for market research companies. FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT.
QUANT and QUAL research skills & experience
Demonstrated ability to take studies from start to finish (and anticipate set-backs)
Research industry sectors we consider similar to this role: B2B, manufacturing, financial, pharmaceutical research or agricultural research.
The ability to be strategic, see the big picture, but dive down into the details will be crucial for this role and this person to be a success.
Excellent with statistical analysis - yet smooth with clients
Ability to effectively report write and present information to clients
Deadline driven, but with great attention to detail and the quality of the research provided
Strong presentation skills are required. Ability to talk with people at a variety of levels on very complex matters and make things understandable for all will be essential.
Can connect well to audiences at a variety of levels. Some moderating experience and working with focus groups would be helpful.
Enjoy working with a variety of client personalities and ability to really understand and help meet their needs
Above all - an energetic and positive spirit is needed
Excellent work ethic required
Bachelor's Degree required/ MS or MBA preferred in related area: Market Research, Psychology, Business, etc.
Some travel is involved. This position is located near ST.LOUIS, Missouri. There are no "remote office" options for this VP role. Interested candidates will need to be willing to live within a commutable distance to St. Louis.
