Define the product messaging, positioning, marketing and branding strategy for the company’s line of commercial label printers. Evaluate & analyze key market issues and communicate strategic insights to internal stakeholders (e.g. SEC, Senior Management, C&I Sales, Business Development, Service/Support, etc). Understand and drive market requirements/needs into the product development and roadmap planning process. Lead cross-functional team (Marcom, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, Sales and other groups) during the product development and launch process. Create product marketing briefs and execute product launch and marketing plans. Responsible for achieving revenue/gross profit/inventory targets for company label printers. Create compelling marketing programs & incentives to encourage printer sales and customer adoption. Work with Marcom and Advertising to develop memorable product marketing material including sales brochures, online web content and vertical market print advertising to achieve sales objectives. Collect and analyze data from all available resources to monitor and ensure competitiveness of products and services. Serve as internal and external PR spokesperson and product champion for label printers. Support the company at events, including sales meetings and tradeshows. Support the C&I Sales team in customer visits and presentations. Build strong relationships with functional leaders and internal peers, Senior Management, SEC, strategic business partners and influential customers/end-users. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
Qualifications include BS/BA degree and a proven track record of success in product marketing and/or management with tier 1 manufacturers of high value, commercial & industrial label printers.
