Database Analyst - Houston, TX
**Responsibilities include**
Large Public Utility Company is looking for a consultant that can work in the database Marketing group. This is a more senior position and role. It will be a position in which this consultant will be the go-to-guy for the different campaigns that are worked on in the group (consumer direct, commercial, etc.). The successful candidate must have advanced experience in database marketing environment and be able to work closely in a team environment. Must have background with Direct Marketing / Database Marketing environments.
SAS skill, heavy on technical query and database understanding and light on analytics. They will need solid SAS skills and have good database skills in Database Marketing exp. If they also have strong skills in SQL and even Toad all the better.

Hiring manager is looking for more depth in experience with this position. Strong SAS programming experience in a Direct / Database Marketing Environment. Experience using SAS to retrieve information from Oracle Tables and doing joins in SAS to produce marketing lists for Campaigns. They will shortly have over 75 product campaigns going and it will need a very strong consultant to be able to balance the work across different product campaigns. There will be 2 positions in this group. One will be entry to basic skill and the other very senior.
