Large financial company in the Richmond area is looking for a consultant to work with the reporting efforts with their technology and business groups. Client needs a skilled mortgage analyst (primarily mortgage data) that can be a liaison between warehouse management (business users) and technology. This consultant will need to have very strong knowledge of SQL, Access, Excel and some Cognos for reporting purposes. There will be some interaction with the business users in order to facilitate the efforts of reporting.

The Marketing Operations group designs operational processes and provides implementation support for Retail mass marketing products, campaigns, key mass customer communications, channels and regulatory activities. Working with multiple groups within the organization, this position will be an individual contributor and potentially a leader on some assignments. The Business Analyst gathers, analyzes and documents requirements and priorities for Marketing related IT and operational process changes and improvements. The analyst is also expected to learn multiple processes and systems. The role offers the opportunity to view the "big picture" of retail operations and marketing, as well as develop specialized knowledge in specific areas.

This role is responsible for liaising with I/T, Marketing, and Operations for Residential and Small C&I market segments. Manages campaigns and assigned projects from idea through launch and designs business processes for ongoing support. Role requires the skills to effectively address issues across multiple functional groups (e.g. Marketing, Regulatory, Customer Care, Contract Management, Transaction Processing, Billing, I/T, Credit/Collections).

A high degree of initiative and capability to work independently and cross-functionally is a required aspect of this job. As well as strong interpersonal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

oWork collaboratively with marketing teams to ensure that marketing campaign project documentation is complete, and full requirements are specified in a timely manner.

oDevelop approach documentation for new capabilities needed to support campaigns, including all cross-functional stakeholders from operations and IT in the review.

oCoordinate with IT, Operations and Marketing to develop and manage timelines for campaign and project delivery. Communicate workplans and status of all related initiatives weekly.

oParticipate in regular campaign meetings and serve as the key subject matter expert for marketing on operational and IT capabilities.

oIdentify improvement areas across Marketing and Customer service processes and develop solutions.

oCoordinate with diverse teams to ensure that business requirements and new process flows are complete. Facilitate consensus around system and process changes from key stakeholders to affect timely and complete implementation

Requirements

Education:

Undergraduate degree from accredited four-year college or university is required - MIS, Engineering, CS preferred. MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred

Experience:

4 + years related experience required including:

oConsulting - experience with process analysis and improvement oProject Management - delivers to milestone dates, manages resources effectively, and can juggle multiple activities at once to accomplish goals oSystem Analysis - development of requirements for system enhancements oPrior experience in retail business is preferred

**JOB TITLE & LOCATION**

Large financial company in the Richmond area is looking for a senior level consultant to work with their mortgage division. This consultant will need to be a very strong SAS professional that is not only a good programmer & developer but a subject matter expert that will be able to give insight into the team on SAS skills and work load planning.

**Responsibilities include**

Client needs a very skilled and senior level SAS developer / programmer. If they have mortgage experience this is a huge plus. They will need to be able to code and be very hands on as well as direct, coach and mentor other SAS users in the group. They will be working with a lot of data and preparing reports for management and to conduct analysis. They will also be working with new reporting requirement that come in and will do analysis on the data to make sure that it is correct. This person will be responsible for coordinating work and balancing workloads and ad-hoc request.
